Gift card purchases:

  • are delivered electronically via email after purchase. No physical product will be mailed.
  • cannot be used towards subscription services.
  • are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • do not count toward free shipping thresholds if purchased in combination with physical products.
  • expire one year from date of purchase.

If you want to send a gift card as a gift electronically, complete the "I want to send this as a gift" form on the product page prior to adding to cart. This option is just above "Add to cart".

There's also an option to delay the receipt date if you want to surprise someone on a specific day.

Shipping

We ship to all addresses within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories. We do not offer international shipping at this time. 

We offer the following shipping options:

  • Free Standard Shipping: Orders of $100 or more qualify for free standard shipping.
  • Carrier-Calculated Rates: For orders under $100, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and package weight. You can check the estimated shipping fee by adding items to your cart, proceeding to checkout, entering your email address and shipping address. The exact shipping fee will be automatically updated and displayed on the checkout page.

We offer FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipping options. You can select your preferred carrier at checkout. If using PO Box, APO, or FPO address, see carrier restrictions and address requirements below.

We support shipments to PO Boxes and Military APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Please note that there are carrier restrictions for PO Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO Addresses. Only USPS can deliver to PO Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Please ensure your military address is formatted correctly with the appropriate PSC/UNIT and BOX numbers.

APO/FPO/DPO Address format requirements:

  • Name field: Enter the recipient's name (rank is optional)
  • Address field (APO): Must include both the PSC and BOX numbers
  • Address field (FPO/DPO): Must include both the UNIT and BOX numbers 
  • City field: Enter only "APO", "FPO", or "DPO" - don't include the actual city name
  • Country: Select "United States"
  • State: Select "Armed Forces Americas" (AA), "Armed Forces Europe" (AE), or "Armed Forces Pacific" (AP)

All packages are mailed with tracking information and up to $100 insurance/declared value coverage.

Once orders enter the carrier's system, we can not be held responsible for any delayed, lost or damaged orders. You will need to work with carrier for any of these issues.

We will send tracking information to the e-mail address associated with your order once the item has shipped. If you have not received your tracking information and it has been over 7 business days, please contact us at support@functionofplanning.com

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 7 business days from the date the of order. Processing times may exceed 7 business days due to high sales volumes. Current processing time is displayed in a banner at the top of the homepage. Please keep in mind that we are a small business and do not have a large fulfillment team.
  • Shipping/Delivery Time: Delivery times vary by carrier and destination. Estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout based on your selected shipping method and address.

We do not accept shipment to multiple addresses for a single order. If you would like items delivered to multiple addresses, please place those orders separately.

Absolutely! When ordering as a gift for someone, be sure to enter in your email address to receive all summary information but enter in the recipient’s name and shipping information.

As an extra precaution, please add a note to your order at check out letting us know this is a gift. We will be sure to keep all prices and receipts out of the package.

Coaching

Book your session:

Use the booking link on this page to pick a date/time and session duration that works best for you. During the booking process you’ll pay for your session and answer a few quick questions so we can focus out time on your needs. Don’t worry - You’ll get a reminder via email and text 24 hours before your coaching appointment.

Meet with your coach:

Use the private zoom link provided in your confirmation email to attend your 1:1 coaching session. During your session we will:

  • Identify what’s working in your current system – and what’s not.
  • Explore your planning style and how your brain works best when it comes to planning and follow-through.
  • Work together to build a flexible system or routine that supports you and fits how you actually operate.
  • Wrap up with clear, practical next steps you can start using right away.

All coaching sessions are delivered via private Zoom video call. Your private zoom link will be provided in your email confirmation after booking and payment is confirmed. A video recording of the appointment (to be sent to you upon completion of your appointment).

That’s completely up to you. I have both 30-minute and 60-minute sessions available. If you need more in-depth assistance, I recommend booking a 60-minute session.

The questionnaire (embedded in the booking & checkout process) is designed to give your coach a better understanding of your unique needs. This ensures that we can maximize efficiency during your appointment. Please complete this questionnaire at time of booking.

If you (1) need additional time to answer these questions, (2) would like to provide additional information, or (3) run into technical difficulties with the questionnaire, your responses can be emailed to coaching@functionofplanning.com prior to your scheduled appointment.

Failure to provide a completed questionnaire to our team within 48 hours of your appointment will result in your appointment being rescheduled. We can be reached at coaching@functionofplanning.com if you have any additional questions.

Questions:

  • What planning system are you currently using? Please provide as much detail as possible (companies, sizes, layouts, etc.).
  • What are you most hoping to achieve with this coaching session?
  • Please provide additional information that will help us prepare for your coaching session.

Any type of planning system can be discussed during your coaching session. F|P coaching is “brand agnostic” and will work with you on professional planning, personal planning, or both. Analogue and digital planning conversations are welcome.

No. Coaching appointments are for ONE customer, and are designed to assist with ONE planning system at a time. If you would like assistance with multiple planning systems (i.e. a task management system for work and a planning system for home), you will need to purchase an additional timeslot.

Coupons and discount codes cannot be applied to coaching services. We reserve the right to, and will cancel any order that bypasses this rule. A $5.00 coupon will be provided via email after your session that can be applied to a community membership. If you are an existing community member, a $5 credit will be placed on your account and will apply to your next subscription payment.

Coaching sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to this, we are unable to accept cancellations. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. (Email us at coaching@functionofplanning.com) We will do our best to accommodate and reschedule your appointment within 7 days of the original appointment depending on availability. Appointments may only be rescheduled one time per booking.

Upon booking, you are scheduled for a 30-minute or 60-minute appointment slot. Please log into your session prior to your start time to avoid delays due to technical difficulty. Your coach will start the session promptly at your scheduled appointment time. The time slot begins with the coach starts the session. If you are more than five minutes late to your scheduled appointment, this will be considered a “no show” and the coach reserves the right to terminate the appointment without rescheduling.

Memberships

Let’s be honest – public content is polished and fully edited.

Inside the F|P Planning Circle community, you’ll see content that’s in progress, unedited, live, and things that might not ever make it to a public space. You’ll get a behind the scenes look at what Kate’s working on and see her thought process in action.

You’ll also be able to share and connect with others in the community as we explore the function that planning serves in our lives.

All community events are recorded and available for replay as soon as the event session is over. This helps if you’re in a different time zone or have a busy schedule.

Absolutely not. In fact, we have a very strict policy regarding links and self promotion in community spaces.

At the request of members, there is an exclusive community swag shop available to Planning Circle and Inner Circle members.

As an added bonus, community members get additional perk on top of the rewards outlined in the F|P Rewards and referral program. While all customers earn 1 point for every $1 spent on F|P purchases,

  • Planning Circle members earn 2 points/$1 on F|P purchases.
  • Inner Circle members earn 3 points/$1 on F|P purchases.
  • Additionally, both Planning Circle & Inner Circle members get bonus points each month their membership fee is renewed.

In an effort to keep membership fees as low as possible, there are three à la carte options for members that are inside the F|P Planning Circle community. This allows a “choose your own adventure” method and gives community members the autonomy to participate in as much or as little as they would like.

The à la carte options are: workshops, courses, & 1:1 coaching sessions.

These were not included in the membership due to frequency, being topic centric, and recognizing the variability in the needs of each member.

Memberships run on a monthly or quarterly basis and can be upgraded or cancelled at anytime.

There is a discount automatically applied for quarterly memberships. You’ll see this automatically applied on the checkout page when selecting the quarterly option.

No refunds will be issued for membership subscriptions. If you cancel your membership subscription, your access is revoked immediately. If you are having issues with your billing, please reach out to billing@functionofplanning.com

Workshop portal will include:

  • Supplies list, downloads, pre-work (if applicable)
  • Event Access Link to be used on the day of the event. Note: access link will be populated the day of the event and will allow you to log in 15 minutes prior to event start time.
  • Replay Link (available after event has concluded and recording has processed - usually within a few hours after the event ends).
  • Feedback form for you to submit your event feedback directly to Kate.

PLEASE NOTE: Workshops are live and guided - they are designed so that you do the exercise along with me. Due to this you’ll have a much better experience at a desk with your iPad/computer.
